What Is Eggnog?
We can all agree that this drink is a must have at the Christmas table because it is the top beverage most commonly prepared for the holidays. Eggnog is a sweet, rich, chilled, dairy-based drink that is very popular during the holiday season! It is traditionally made with cream, milk, sugar, egg yolks, and whipped egg whites (this gives it it’s frothy texture & name). It sometimes contains alcohol but the following recipe will be non-alcoholic because it is children proof. Eggnog is most popular from the month of November until the very end of the holiday season. This super tasty Christmas drink can either be made at home or bought at common grocery stores in different countries. When eggnog is homemade, you will need eggs, milk, flavorings, sugar, and more.
