Q: What are some of the benefits of Staron®?
A: Staron is one of the few surfaces certified safe for direct contact with food. Staron surfaces are installed with imperceptible seams, meaning you can smoothly connect countertops, backsplashes and sinks into a one-piece kitchen system with this design advantage.
Q: Why is HI-MACS® considered Natural Acrylic Stone™?
A: HI-MACS is made of mineral material that consists of approximately one third acrylic resin (polymethyl methacryelate or PMMA) and 5% natural pigments, at 70% its main constituent is natural mineral aluminium hydroxide (ATH) obtained from bauxite (aluminium ore) made by LG Hausys Surfaces.
Q: How long has Corian® been on the market?
A: Dupont™ introduced Corian solid surface in 1967. The formula for the synthetic blend of natural mineral and high performance acrylic has remained since 1968.
Q: What products does Avonite Surfaces offer?

A: Marlique Marble by Cosentino® is an enhanced marble made up of 93 percent marble and seven percent polyester resin and pigments. Because it is more durable, consistent, and dependable than quarried or cultured marble it can be used for virtually any bathroom surface.
